You will lead classes of 15+ students, delivering both hands-on training and theoretical instruction aligned with Alberta apprenticeship and industry standards.This role will allow you to shape careers while maintaining high educational standards in a collaborative environment.If you are ready to inspire and prepare the next generation of beauty professionals, we would love to hear from youKey Responsibilities:Educational LeadershipDeliver comprehensive theoretical and practical instruction in hair styling and barbering techniquesDevelop and update curriculum aligned with Alberta apprenticeship standards and industry trendsCreate engaging lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials for hybrid learning environmentsPrepare students for Red Seal examinations and provincial licensing requirementsStudent Success & Performance ManagementMonitor and improve key performance indicators including graduation rates and employment outcomesProvide individualized mentorship and career guidance to diverse student populationsConduct fair, objective skill assessments with constructive feedbackImplement data-driven strategies to enhance student success ratesTeam & Program ManagementLead and coordinate a team of 15+ hair styling and barbering studentsManage classroom resources, equipment maintenance, and supply budgetsCollaborate with the Academy Dean on program development and quality assuranceMaintain accurate records in our Eduley management systemIndustry & Community EngagementBuild relationships with local salons and barbershops for student placementsOrganize and supervise student participation in competitions and industry eventsStay current with industry innovations and integrate new techniques into curriculumRepresent NIWE Academy at industry functions and regulatory meetingsThe CompanyNIWE Academy is Western Canada's leading private post-secondary institution specializing in beauty, wellness, and medical aesthetics education.
