Agilus is recruiting for a Financial Reporting Specialist in the post-secondary sector in Calgary, Alberta. We''re actively hiring for a contract Financial Reporting Specialist to join an operations team in downtown Calgary. Perfect person for this role has their CPA, public practice experience, and is an advanced Excel user. Responsibilities: Accurate financial reporting Writing position papers and issue papers for complex accountant transactions Documenting supporting information for all transactions Financial analysis Assessing any complex accounting issues that come up Assisting with year-end audits, reviewing daily and month-end journal entries Risk management, legislative compliance, and strategic decision making Improving policies and procedures Requirements: 4+ years of experience in financial reporting and analysis CPA completed or close-to Experience with writing position papers and issue papers Advanced user of MS Excel Any public practice experience will be a huge asset What''s in it for you: Pay rate: $35/hour to $48/hour (depending on years of experience, designation) Location: downtown Calgary Work model: hybrid Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm Contract duration: August 2025 to June 2026 Interested?
