We are seeking a Project Manager with a solid foundation in Business Analysis to support project planning, coordination, and execution across a range of strategic initiatives and to lead the reporting of PEOs 2026-2030 Strategic Plan. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring project goals align with organizational and Council-directed objectives. The candidate will work closely with stakeholders, business teams, and development teams, deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within scope. About PEO Under the authority of the Professional Engineers Act, PEO licenses and governs over 91,500 licence and certificate holders and regulates the practice of professional engineering in Ontario. PEOs mission is to regulate and advance the practice of engineering to protect the public interest. With a talented, multidisciplinary staff of over 100, PEOs vision is to be a trusted leader in professional self-regulation. Responsibilities Prepare project plans to deliver proposed solutions; estimate schedules, cost estimates, staff resource requirements, and third-party resources. Direct and coordinate activities of both internal and third-party project personnel to ensure project progress is on schedule, in scope and within budget. Prepare project status reports for management, including the monthly project status updates and support the CEO/registrars Report that is published five times throughout the year. Liaise with clients and internal staff to facilitate the design of solutions and deliver engagements to meet our clients varied needs. Assist with the gathering, analyzing and documentation of business and functional requirements. Supports development and regular reviews and updates of project scorecards. Determine the appropriate documentation (communication plans, schedules/timelines, status reports, closure summary, budget, risk plan, etc.) for projects. Manage the quality and delivery of project documentation. Own the change order process with vendors, including determining the need for a new Statement of Work or Change Order as required. Ensure that projects adhere to quality control standards such as project change orders, reporting and issues tracking. Prepare and present formal and informal presentations to stakeholders. Work with team members to gather information and determine possible/probable impacts to the project, document mitigation steps taken in troubleshooting and communicate these to the project team and stakeholders as required. Skills and Knowledge: Strong Project Management foundation Strong knowledge of Waterfall, Hybrid and Agile project management principles Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Working knowledge of current IT systems and applications Exceptional customer service orientation Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Visio, Power BI, and Smartsheet Excellent presentation skills, including facilitation First-rate written and oral communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language Highly self-motivated and directed Keen attention to detail Ability to work independently and in group settings Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Qualifications: 5 - 7 years of project management experience 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, or Junior PM role 5 - 7 years'' experience communicating to senior-level executives Certification in Project Management PMP is required Relevant post-secondary education; Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field What''s in it for You?
