This role is primarily focused on the management and expansion of our segregated funds portfolio, while also helping members consolidate their assets under the reliable and trusted umbrella of Coast Capital. Youll be responsible for delivering tailored, tax-efficient investment strategies, monitoring and rebalancing portfolios, and ensuring full regulatory compliance. This role also involves evaluating clients financial goals and risk tolerance, and proactively adapting financial strategies as life circumstances change. This position is more than just portfolio management, its about helping our members feel confident about their financial futures and supporting them with a clear, strategic approach to investment and legacy planning.What Youll Get to Do:Demonstrate a commitment to excellence by supporting and participating in corporate initiatives.Provide exceptional member service and build long-lasting, trust-based relationships.Develop customized segregated fund portfolios, implementing tax-efficient investment strategies aligned with member goals.Regularly monitor and rebalance portfolios based on market conditions and client objectives.Evaluate financial positions and risk tolerance to ensure appropriate product fit and investment performance.Maintain strict compliance with all regulatory requirements related to segregated funds and insurance-based investments.Deliver educational seminars to clients on the value of segregated funds and estate planning.Collaborate closely with internal teams to provide a seamless member experience.Refer members to other internal specialists as needed when their needs extend beyond your scope.Contribute to a strong team culture by sharing knowledge, working collaboratively, and fostering a positive and professional environment.Proactively participate in professional development, maintaining all required licenses and CE credits.Uphold corporate policies regarding conduct, confidentiality, and compliance.Support the organizations Vision, Mission, and Core Values through your work and leadership.Who Are We Looking For?Minimum 46 years of experience in a related role, with 79 years of direct financial services sales experience, including at least 5 years in insurance and estate planning.High school diploma plus completion of a Certificate Program (equivalent to one full year or 10 courses); a university degree is considered an asset.Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations are highly advantageous.LLQP (Life License Qualification Program) certification is mandatory.Demonstrated success in managing segregated fund portfolios and developing tax-efficient investment strategies.Strong knowledge of financial regulatory compliance requirements specific to segregated funds.Solid understanding of estate planning principles as they relate to investment and insurance products.Proven ability to deliver engaging financial presentations and lead educational client sessions.Skilled in using CRM systems and other digital financial tools.Proficiency in the full consultative sales process with a strong focus on results.Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.Join Coast Capital and help make a meaningful difference in the financial futures of our membersone conversation, one strategy, and one trusted relationship at a time.Equity, Diversity & Inclusion at Coast CapitalDont meet every single requirement?
