From the client: Were building a warm, high-functioning environment focused on team-based care, innovation, and patient-centered service.About the RoleWe're currently seeking enthusiastic Medical Office Assistants (MOAs) who want to be part of a clinic from the ground up and contribute to a welcoming, innovative, and supportive care environment.ResponsibilitiesGreet and register patients; answer phones and manage inquiries professionallyCoordinate appointments, follow-ups, and referralsMaintain accurate and up-to-date records in TELUS CHRProcess MSP billing, private billing, and insurance claimsPrepare exam rooms and assist with minor proceduresManage clinic correspondence, organize supplies, and ensure inventory is maintainedEnsure patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance (e.g., PHIPA, PIPA)Coordinate prescription renewals and referralsCollaborate with the clinical team to ensure smooth day-to-day operationsParticipate in continuous improvement projectsSupport training for new staff or students (if applicable)QualificationsEmployment Type: Full-Time or Part-TimeWork Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Saturday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Required SkillsStrong communication and organizational skillsWillingness to learn and contribute to a startup clinic environmentAlignment with team-based care valuesA proactive, supportive, and friendly attitudePreferred SkillsExperience in a medical office setting is an assetAbility to speak PunjabiPay range and compensation packageCompensation details will be discussed during the interview process.Equal Opportunity StatementWe are committed to diversity and inclusivity in our hiring practices.
