**Job Summary** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Baking Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and an understanding of the production processes involved in creating high-quality baked goods. This role involves not only the fabrication of various baked items but also managing vendor relationships and ensuring that all ingredients and supplies are procured efficiently. The Baking Procurement Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and consistency of our products while adhering to safety and health regulations. **Duties** * Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating prices and terms for procurement of ingredients and supplies. * Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to track inventory levels and forecast needs. * Buy necessary materials in a timely manner to ensure continuous production without interruptions. * Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms. * Procure ingredients while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. * Collaborate with the supply chain team to optimize inventory management processes using ERP systems. * Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, following all food safety guidelines. **Skills** * Strong ingredient skills in baking, with attention to detail in product quality. * Experience in vendor management, including negotiation skills for pricing and contracts. * Familiarity with MRP systems for inventory management. * Proficiency in using ERP or similar supply chain management software. * Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and team members. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
