With a robust network of more than 60 branches across Canada and over 700 locations globally, we provide tailored solutions to meet the diverse needs of our clients. *Summary* The successful candidate will be a Property Claims Adjuster and will be working on a hybrid work setup in Calgary, Alberta. They will be actively involved in evaluating large loss claims with a focus on property (commercial and condominium) claims through loss investigation and be responsible for negotiating settlements following provincial licensing requirements, while maintaining adequate production levels and customer relationships. *Responsibilities* * Reviews and analyzes experts reports * Selects and directs independent experts * Identifies and pursues subrogation opportunities * Secures and manages litigation disposition plans and budgets * Detailed recording of file activities and transactions in both Crawford and Company and client-based systems * Maintains accurate expense accounts * Work with manager to maintain client relation * Ability to liaise and work with all facets of the insurance community including brokers, risk managers, legal counsel and regulators *Requirements* * Minimum 2 years functional/technical experience in an insurance environment, knowledge in condominium claims. * Ideal candidate will have a construction and property background specializing in project management, quantification and appraisal * Commercial policy interpretation and experience making recommendations to the market * Has an active adjuster license or working towards CIP and/or FCIP designation * Strong report writing skills * Must be a team player with outstanding customer service skills * Willingness to work in a dynamic environment with opportunity for career growth If you are ready to take the next step in your career with a company that values integrity and excellence, apply now to join Crawford & Company as a Claims Adjuster!
