About the OpportunityUnderstand franchise agreements and create a new franchise profile in the system and updating existing franchisee informationCreate weekly franchise statements and send to franchisees as per approval policyBuild good working relationships with Operations teams, as well as the franchisees and finance team to understand the franchise programs and their accounting impactUpload and post franchisee sales to the systemHandle franchisee inquiries and disputesCoordinate follow-up on aged franchise AR accounts for collectionPrepare and post franchise journal entries as requiredReconcile all franchisee Commission and AR accounts every month endCreate and manage franchisee related reports and other trade spendsAnalyse and verify franchisee claimsLearn and understand the franchisee royalty and rebate programsAd-Hoc duties as assignedAbout YouCompleted advanced diploma in accounting; graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting or Finance is preferredFluent in English and Korean language skills for franchisee communication (required)At least 2-3 years of accounting or related field experience (experience in manufacturing or CPG environment considered a big advantage)Excellent verbal and written communication skills; be able to comprehend and articulate accounting issues from non-accounting/cross-functional teams and be able to recommend pragmatic solutionsProficient in Microsoft Suite i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook.
