Job Title: Maintenance Electrician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our high-speed PLC and VFD controlled processes and packaging equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to meet the demands of a 24/7 operation while adhering to safety regulations and internal management policies. Responsibilities Practice safe working methods as per the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, and Internal Management Policies. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair high-speed PLC & VFD controlled processes and packaging equipment. Utilize and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers, instrumentation, and PCs to observe and repair machine functions. Maintain electrical plant utilities such as lighting and emergency lighting/generators. Calibrate process control instruments and controllers. Complete preventive maintenance routines and work orders in a timely manner. Advise on problem resolution and procure materials and equipment for jobs. Assist in project work, equipment modifications, and new installations. Keep equipment file documentation current and updated. Maintain the EET Shop in a neat and orderly fashion. Communicate clearly with maintenance, engineering, and production personnel. Record and submit all regular and overtime work daily to the maintenance supervisor. Ensure all instrumentation equipment and personal tools are operational and safe. Keep departmental and electrical shop logbooks current. Participate in relevant training and assist new EETs with job duties, safety, and equipment operation. Follow all GMP rules and regulations and quality checks. Work according to ISO Environment and OHSAS Safety requirements. Ensure compliance with the Nestle Quality Management System (NQMS) and quality policy. Must Haves 4+ years of experience as a licensed electrician. Valid 309A or 442A license with industrial experience. Proficient in electrical, conduit, wiring, troubleshooting, and repair. Experience with PLC troubleshooting, including Siemens. Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics. Additional Skills & Qualifications Robotics experience is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a clean, GMP environment with a schedule of Monday to Wednesday from 7 am to 7 pm and Thursday to Saturday from 7 am to 7 pm, with a premium on night shifts.
