Reporting to the Superintendent - Maintenance, you will be part of the Maintenance Department. You will be responsible for providing leadership for the Maintenance, Electrical, and Planning/Reliability teams in collaboration with the Maintenance Superintendent. You will ensure that goals and objectives are achieved while promoting Agnico Eagles culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and environmental responsibility. Provide vision and strategy to the Maintenance group aligned with operational and corporate objectives; Coordinate efforts with managers and superintendents to achieve departmental goals and deliverables; Apply strategic thinking to address critical mining and technical issues; Mentor and train subordinates, develop succession plans, and staff development programs; Review, develop, and lead maintenance strategies; Participate in budgeting and forecasting, ensuring cost control of the allocated budget; Oversee communication and reporting (annual, monthly, project, etc.); Lead and promote a culture of health and safety awareness and practices. What You Need to Succeed Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is highly recommended; 15+ years of mining experience focused on mobile equipment and fixed plants; At least 7 years of experience at a similar or higher level; Strong leadership and coaching skills; Experience in asset management and project management; Experience managing department costs, budgets, and forecasts; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Note: The official working language at Meliadine Mine is English. Your Work Schedule: Schedule: 4 days of work followed by 3 days off for transportation and rest; On-site accommodations and meals are provided at no cost; charter flights are arranged, and other travel expenses are covered based on your residence in Canada. #J-18808-Ljbffr
