With 10 locations in Ontario, following four decades of success in Central Canada, we offer incredible opportunities for professional advancement and growth. **Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Manufacturing Expectation** * Diagnose technical problems on truck components requiring repair. This can include dump bodies, Lift gates and Back up Cameras, Utility trailers and other vocational trucks. * Performing standard service repairs to the truck bodies and trailers of our customers with minimal supervision * Performing electrical wiring tasks, some complex in nature on the vehicles * Use of a variety hand and pneumatic tools to disassemble and install truck bodies to truck chassis. * Use of overhead cranes as required. * Use portable hand tools and measuring equipment consistent with industry standards. * Use various welding and cutting equipment including mig, tig, plasma and oxy/acetylene. * The ability to weld steel, stainless steel and aluminum. * Wheelbase lengthening and Shortening. * Truck frame length modifications. * Ensure fit, finish and function to meet customer requirements and expectations. * Perform inspection of your own work. * Complete Quality Inspection Documentation as required. * Work effectively and efficiently to complete your work within the job standard. * Use Lean Principles to eliminate waste in your area and become more efficient. * Contribute to cost reduction ideas and continuous improvement activities. * Perform other duties, as required. **Major Requirements and Competencies** * At least 3 years experience with the use of powered hand tools. * Experience with automotive electronic troubleshooting * **Prior experience with truck body service or installation** * Experience in the fitting/welder discipline * Able to read drawings work instructions and blueprints. * Ability to be certified in forklifts and cranes operations. **Preferred Competencies (but not required)** * Brake testing equipment operation * Trailer safety certification * Repair hydraulic components including lines, etc. for various applications such as cranes and dump bodies. * Prior experience with hydraulic service or installation If you are looking for a rewarding, challenging and fun career, are results driven, motivated and anxious to become part of a dynamic team then Gincor is looking for you!
