We are a team of dedicated professionals providing experienced management, reliable crews, quality workmanship and unbeatable service.** **We are looking for a strong, personable and positive team orientated individual to fill the full-time position of a Dispatcher based out of Grande Prairie, AB and surrounding areas.** **POSITION SUMMARY:** We are currently seeking a **Skilled 45 Ton Picker Swamper / Crane & Hoisting Boom Truck Apprentice** to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for a motivated, safety-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. ***Preference will be given to candidates LOCAL to Grande Prairie and surrounding areas.*** **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:** * Safely assist in lifting, moving, and positioning heavy loads using rigging equipment * Conduct pre-use inspections of rigging gear and equipment to identify defects or wear * Ensure loads are secured properly and in compliance with safety regulations * Maintain clear communication with dispatch, management, and clients * Collaborate with crane operators and team members using hand signals and radio communication * Complete daily electronic Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHAs) and ensure accurate safety documentation * Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a culture of safety excellence * Assist with rigging setups specific to various lifting applications * Demonstrate respect for company equipment and ensure it is maintained in good condition * Manage time effectively to meet job site requirements and project deadlines **EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:** * Crane & Hoisting Boom Truck Apprentice certification (or willingness to obtain) * Previous picker, rigging, or hoisting experience is a strong asset * H2S Alive * Standard First Aid Level C * CSO (Common Safety Orientation) * Fall Protection (preferred) **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:** * ***Valid Class 5 Drivers License with a clean 3-year drivers abstract*** * Reliable transportation to and from work * Solid understanding of rigging principles and safety practices * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills * Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team If you''re seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity with long-term potential, we want to hear from you.
