Our plants specialize in the manufacturing, fabrication, and repair of a large variety of medium to larger sized products, principally used in all aspects of the mining industry. **What we offer:** * Health and Dental Benefits * Pension Plan * TFSA Program * Boot Allowance * Wellness Program **Your duties and responsibilities:** * Work safely and respect the safety of co-workers * Clean, disassemble, inspect, repair, reassemble and test previous manufactured hydraulic and other mechanical type components * Operate and maintain departmental machinery and equipment as required **What you need:** * Strong mechanical aptitude * Secondary school graduate (Grade 12) * Completion of recognized millwright training course such as a two-year college or pre-apprenticeship program * Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpretation of technical drawings * Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments * Strong attention to detail and product quality * Self-motivation, organization, strong communication and interpersonal skills * Previous hydraulic assembly experience and experience operating machines and equipment typical to the hydraulics department an asset. The performance of the successful applicant will be measured against the responsibilities, duties and accountabilities as prescribed in the job description and will be evaluated in intervals. Training requirements will be adjusted to help the employee reach competency levels.
