This customer-centric approach allows us to build lasting partnerships and contribute to the success of our clients'' endeavors. **Position Overview:** The industrial mechanic will work in our manufacturing facility, servicing, repairing and updating various machinery used throughout our manufacturing process, in order to ensure the continued running and efficiency and minimize downtime. * Full-time, 40 hours per week. * **Schedule:** Tuesday to Saturday, 6:00am to 2:30pm * **Location:** Stoney Creek * **Rate:** $40 per hour * Health & Dental benefits starting after 3 months * 3% Group RRSP matching plan starting after 3 months **Key Responsibilities:** **1. Maintenance and Repair**: * Learn, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and controls systems, equipment, machinery, and facilities, in a manufacturing environment. * Create a preventative maintenance program for the factory. Perform regular preventive maintenance on industrial machinery to prevent breakdowns. * Ensure equipment is running efficiently, safely, and within operational parameters. * Contemplate, develop, and create machinery and process improvements. * Facility and grounds maintenance **2. Installation of New Equipment**: * Install new machinery, equipment, and production systems, ensuring they are properly calibrated and functioning. **3. Mechanical Troubleshooting**: * Learn the machinery and how it operates. Diagnose issues related to mechanical failures, using tools, schematics, and technical manuals. * Identify and fix problems such as leaks, broken parts, misalignments, and electrical or hydraulic malfunctions. **4. Fabrication and Modification**: * Fabricate, and modify mechanical parts and components as necessary. **5. Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems**: * Repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems commonly used in industrial machinery. * Troubleshoot issues with pumps, valves, cylinders, and other components of hydraulic or pneumatic systems. **6. Safety and Compliance**: * Follow safety protocols and regulations while performing tasks. * Ensure machines are working in compliance with safety standards, including lock-out/tag-out procedures. **7. Documentation**: * Maintain records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts used. * Complete inspection and maintenance reports as required by the employer. **8.
