In 2022, Lethbridge was recognized as one of Canadas top small cities. **Rank** **Tenure Information** Not Applicable **Position Details** **Overview:** A multidisciplinary team of researchers from the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Dhillon School of Business at the University of Lethbridge is seeking to hire a graduate student to work as a Research Assistant, as per the Collective Agreement between the University of Lethbridge Board of Governors and the University of Lethbridge Graduate Students Association: Our Healthcare Workforce research project focuses on the health and well-being of nursing professionals, examining how their daily self-care actions influence their quality of life, work-life balance, and the care/ service they provide to patients. Additionally, we aim to understand what healthcare organizations are currently doing or could do to support the overall health and well-being of nursing professionals. Graduate Assistant wages will be paid according to Schedule A of the ULGSA Collective Agreement. Employment is for 8 to 10 hours per week from August to December 2025. **Major Tasks and Duties:** The duties of the RA (Research) position include, but are not limited to: * Creating a code document for cleaning and analyzing survey data using SPSS. * Cleaning the survey data. * Analyzing the data using SPSS (e.g., univariate, bivariate and multivariate analyses). * Preparing analysis tables for various research papers. * Attending team meetings. * Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. **Skill Requirements:** * Strong research skills for gathering primary data, analyzing data (using SPSS), summarizing data, and reporting data results. * Proficient in SPSS software and various Microsoft tools (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, etc.). * Strong writing skills for supporting the preparation of research reports and manuscripts. * Strong communication skills. * Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. **Eligibility Requirements:** Eligible applicants must be registered graduate students at the University of Lethbridge.
