Alberco Construction Ltd, leaders in bridge and water/sewer infrastructure construction, are hiring a (***LOCAL*** to Athabasca) energetic working Foreman/Carpenter for a bridge project in Athabasca. ***- MUST HAVE a car and valid drivers lic.*** ***- Must have min 2 years foreman/woman experience.*** ***- Must have carpenter journeyperson ticket.*** ***-Bridge or industrial formwork experience.*** ***- Possible opportunity for advancement*** ***- Family Owned Business*** ***- Benefit and Pension Plan*** ***- YEAR ROUND employment*** **General Job Duties & Responsibilities:** - Supervise small crew - Build concrete formwork. - Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, and other items. - Use various site construction tools. - Load, unload, and transport construction materials. - Assist with placing and finishing concrete. - Work year-round in an outside environment. - Identify hazards on site and contribute to a safe work environment. **General Requirements:** - Physically apt to perform job duties. - Ability to work as a team and communicate with co-workers. - Willingness to learn general construction practices. - Willingness to work overtime and out of town if required. *Wages dependent on experience. $42. -$44. per hour.* ********We would like to thank all interested candidates, however only those selected for interviews will be contacted.******** ***No phone calls please.*** Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $42.00-$45.00 per hour depending on type of experience.
