As a Canadian owned and operated facility located in Tillsonburg and Ingersoll- Ontario, we strive to produce great tasting, health conscious products. **Why Join Us?** * Great company culture * Benefit packages * Working directly with Tillsonburg Custom Foods * Opportunity for growth and learning within the company * Casual Dress **Visit our website**: **Job Responsibilities** * Responsible for managing the company''s Safe Quality Food (SQF) System, which includes record keeping, document control, verification, validation and internal audits. . * Work directly with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) to ensure all food safety standards are adhered to. * Develop, implement, and monitor HACCP and food safety plans. * Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for each process. * Lead HACCP team meetings and reassessments. * Stay current on regulatory changes and update policies and programs as needed. * Training employees on food safety, good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Personal Hygiene and Company policies * Monitoring and Verifying Quality Control tasks. * Assist with customer complaint investigation, HOLD & Release program * Maintain accurate and organized records of all QC and production paperwork. * All other duties as assigned. **Requirements** * Degree in food science, microbiology, or a related field. * HACCP certification and familiarity with GMP, BRC, and food safety standards. * Experience in the meat processing industry will be considered an asset. * Strong communication and organizational skills.
