Job Description

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the general maintenance and minor repairs across Spring Creek Resorts properties and the surrounding grounds. The Maintenance Manager must have 3-5 years experience in Hotel Maintenance and must have above average building operations knowledge not limited to drywall and painting, minor plumbing repairs, small equipment and tool operations, HVAC, and small appliance repairs and OH&S. This position is very physical requiring candidates to be able to push & pull objects up to 100 lbs, lift objects up to 50 lbs, reach, bend, twist, carry, stand or walk repetitively with ease or for extended periods. A university or college degree in Hotel Management would be considered an asset. The duties of this role include, but are not limited to: * Ensure high-performing maintenance operations through continuous improvement and coordination of training * Oversee, develop, and support the maintenance teams * Maintain effective interdepartmental communication across Spring Creek Resorts properties Perform daily inspections of public areas using the maintenance management systems to log deficiencies, monitor follow-up actions, and ensure standards are consistently maintained Respond to maintenance inquiries and requests in a pleasant, timely, and efficient manner, coordinating with Client Care, homeowners, and guests, as needed Complete work order requests in an efficient manner Maintain all mechanical areas in an orderly and clean condition. Apply operational knowledge of pool systems and a pool maintenance certification to ensure proper maintenance and safety Provide maintenance repairs to guestrooms, public areas and administrative offices across Spring Creek Resorts properties which * may include (but are not limited to) plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, ventilation, furnishings and fixtures, painting, wall cover repairs, light carpentry, door and window repairs Respond to or perform duties of a groundskeeper Conduct performance reviews and performance management when required Monitor and manage the departmental budget by controlling costs and overseeing procurement activities to ensure financial targets are met and resources are used efficiently Actively participate in health and safety meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of safety systems to ensure a safe working environment and regulatory compliance Coordinate and schedule trades services, procurement activities, and pool maintenance to ensure timely completion of tasks and uninterrupted operations Conduct departmental meetings Demonstrate proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite, Opera property management software, and the maintenance management system Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: * Company events * Dental care * On-site parking * Paid time off * Vision care Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person
