Join our team and be part of helping our students take the lead not only into the future, but today. **Key Responsibilities** ------------------------ * Ensuring that the cows are milked out properly and thoroughly while adhering to the SOP''s as set by barn staff and SMF * Ensuring milking equipment, milk house and parlour area is kept clean and sanitary before, during and after milking * Observing milk quality and animal health, reporting any abnormalities or concerns to full time barn staff ASAP * Communicating with barn staff, SMF and farm team daily to ensure optimal functioning of facilities, optimal health of the herd and quality of the milk **Job Requirements** -------------------- * Dairy experience would be considered an asset * Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays during the school year on a rotating schedule * Awareness of farm safety practices and hazard identification **Additional Information** -------------------------- These are student AUPE appointments at the Vermilion campus commencing as soon as possible and ending June 30, 2026. **Competition will remain open until suitable candidates are found.
