***SPECTRA*** is an ISO full service aluminum parts supplier with 5 manufacturing facilities in Ontario, Head Offices in Bradford, and due to a new manufacturing facility opening in Bradford and promotions from within Spectra, We have opportunity at our: **New Bradford Facility For Industrial Electrician** The candidate will be tasked troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical issues. In addition you will also work on new equipment installs and tear-down/re-build jobs. An ideal candidate will have a strong problem solving ability, mechanical aptitude and the ability to excel in a time-sensitive environment. You will be trained on all necessary aspects of the job. * Troubleshoot and isolate faults * Install, replace, and repair electrical controls and panel boxes * Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits, splice join and connect wires * Perform service work on existing equipment including teardowns and rebuilding * Travel to other Spectra plants as required to perform PM and work on projects * Adhere to all safety policies and procedures **Skill Development** * Experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical equipment * Basic electrical drawings * Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures * Ability to operate various power tools to assemble, cut, and sand components * Keen attention to detail and tidiness * Examine end product to ensure it meets quality standards and is aesthetically Job Type: Full-time Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Night shift * On call * Overtime * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person
