You''ll play a key role in ensuring the seamless execution of preventative and corrective maintenance activities, directly impacting the efficiency and reliability of infrastructure assets. Purpose To deliver schedules for preventative and corrective maintenance activities. Align workload with available resources (staff, material and parts, engineering hours availability, etc.) Report on completion of maintenance activities and delays, issues Responsibilities Schedule all preventative, corrective maintenance activities for the Infrastructure Maintenance Consider workforce, material and parts availability, revenue service requirements, safety rules and regulations when planning and scheduling the preventative and corrective maintenance repairs of Infrastructure assets Manage resource interdependencies associated constraints and seek solutions to potential conflicts Ensure that resources are available to meet the requirements of the maintenance schedule at all times Work with stakeholders to identify and analyze new maintenance initiatives and assist frontline supervisors to determine material and labour requirements Initiate Problem Reports to rectify material and equipment supply issues, and act upon solution proposals Prepare and maintain status reports for ongoing preventative and corrective maintenance activities Compile descriptive performance statistics and recommend improvements to procedures and work methods Assist with the preparation of potential work assignments, performance analyses, status reports, delay predictions and historical information of section and job performance Advise senior management of scheduled repair/maintenance activities; facilitate presentations to senior management as required Assist in the collection and organization of information related to construction contractor''s defects, both technical and financial Working with Engineering and sourcing to plan and develop solutions for complex maintenance Promotes a respectful work and service environment that supports diversity, inclusion, and is free from harassment and discrimination All About You Bachelors Degree in Management, Business Administration, Engineering or any other relevant field for the role. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role required Experience in the analysis of preventative and corrective maintenance programs and schedules Knowledge of project management principles Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies (e.g. Occupational Health & Safety Act, environmental compliances, etc.) Requires technical knowledge of Infrastructure assets (Track, Overhead Catenary System, Traction Power, Signalling, Comms, etc.) Strong IT proficiency (SAP, Microsoft Office) Capable to work under time pressure and meet deadlines Sense of ownership and collaboration Strong interpersonal skills to work in a matrix organization Fluent in English Things youll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career.
