Site Superintendent - Rental Building RetrofitYou will take over an ongoing occupied BC Housing rental building retrofit project. The key strengths needs for this project include renter communication (supported by a Tenant Coordinator), detailed M&E shutdown scheduling and trade coordination.Key Details:North ShoreOccupied BC Housing RetrofitFuture projects will be similar, envelope projects or new multi-family wood-frame projects.Salary from $120,000 - $140,000Company Details:This is possibly BC's fastest growing General Contractor and Construction Manager. They are supported by committed ownership who have vast construction knowledge with exposure to trade contracting and the occasional development too. The take on project across multiple industries including new multi-family construction (typically wood-frame), envelope restoration, retrofits and even out of town projects including schools and community centres. There have a strong amount of projects in the pursuit phase and they expect this to be a long term hire.Duties:You will take over leadership of this project from the interim Superintendent and finalize the mechanical re-pipe work and siding (both nearly done) and focus on the required M&E shutdowns for the new generator, commissioning (including in each occupied unit) and finishing.Plan and communicate the 48-72 hour notices for shutdowns, with trades and tenants.Coordinate with the Tenant Coordinator to minimize the impact on residents.Ensure the projects is completed in a timely and professional manner.Requirements:Superintendent experience leading retrofit, strata, envelope and similar upgrade projects.Experience in occupied buildings and a knowledge of how to minimize the burden on tenants.Strong communication skills.Compensation:Salary: $120,000 - $140,000Completion bonusBenefits: Medical and Dental (after 3 months)Vehicle allowancePhonePension: 2% matching (after 6 months) raising to 5% by year 5.
