**Materials Cycle Counter** **Job Summary** The Materials Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining accurate counts of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods inventory within the manufacturing facility. This role ensures that all materials required for production are available, tracked, and properly reconciled with the inventory management system. **Responsibility** - Perform daily cycle counts of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, and maintain an accurate Cycle Count Schedule. - Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. - Update inventory records in the ERP system and the Master Tracker on Linus, ensuring accurate reconciliation. - Submit daily Inventory Adjustment Approval Reports and update records after receiving approval. - Support and assist with Physical Inventory planning and execution as required. - Prepare and maintain cycle count reports (daily, weekly, monthly) and provide ABC Inventory Analysis for management review. - Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and engage plant personnel as necessary. - Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards (OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949). - Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, electric pump cart) and perform other material handling tasks (loading, unloading, organizing). - Support and maintain department lean initiatives as set out in LPS system requirements. **Academic/Educational Requirements** - High school diploma or equivalent **Required Skills/Experience** - Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, or warehouse operations preferred. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and data entry. - Familiarity with ERP systems - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). - Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Forklift certification (preferred but not required). **What Linamar Has To Offer** - Opportunities for career advancement. - Community based outreach supporting both local and global initiatives and charities. - Social committees and sports teams. - Discounts for local vendors and events, including auto supplier discounts. **About Us** Linamar Corporation is a Canadian diversified global manufacturing company of highly engineered products across global industries & markets.
