Seasonal Farm Labourer / Elevator Support Buurma Acres (Alvinston, ON) Season: Now to November 2025 Buurma Acres is seeking a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented individual to join our team for the 2025 farming season. This is a hands-on, seasonal role that combines general farm labour, grain elevator operations, truck driving during peak periods, and farm equipment operation. Responsibilities Perform daily yard upkeep including sweeping, cleaning, and organizing work areas Assist with seasonal projects and prepare machinery and work areas for seeding, harvest, and other busy periods Work closely with the elevator operator to unload, load, and move grain; operate augers, conveyors, and other grain-handling equipment Drive farm trucks to move grain between sites or deliver as directed during busy season (G licence required; AZ licence/experience is an asset) Operate and maintain farm equipment (tractors, loaders, cultivators, skid steers) Support other team members during peak activity and help ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment Requirements Farming or agricultural background with hands-on experience is essential Skilled at operating farm equipment (tractors, loaders, cultivators, etc.) Valid G drivers licence with a clean driving record (AZ licence or truck driving experience is an asset) Mechanically inclined and able to do basic troubleshooting and maintenance Detail-oriented, structured, organized, and able to follow procedures accurately Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in all weather Reliable, positive, and able to work well as part of a team What We Offer Wage- $25-$30/hour Company Merch How to Apply: Send your resume by email to with Farm Labourer / Elevator Support in the subject line.
