With over 40 years of experience, you can expect to join an established company that offers numerous prospects. **Position: Talent & Recruitment Coordinator** **Department: Human Resources** **Type: Full Time Permanent** **Location: Fort Macleod, AB** As a shared service for both companies, this role will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates for our company as well as owning the new hire employee experience **Key Responsibilities** - Execute end to end recruitment for a variety of roles including production employees, skilled tradespeople, specialists, sales, and administrative positions - Maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs by being proactive in the job market - Develop recruitment and retention strategies with the human resources team to deliver a strong employer brand and employee experience - Conduct compensation analysis in comparison to market to ensure company competitiveness for labour - Participate in capacity and manpower meetings with business partners to understand and labour needs and provide data driven headcount decisions - Own campus, post secondary, and trades programs that align with and drive company goals - Drive the new employee experience through the first 90 days of employment; conduct orientation, onboarding, and first 90 day activities to ensure employee engagement and fit - Support the safety and human resources team with other activities and tasks as needed **Key Skills** - Proactive verbal and written communication skills - Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize competing responsibilities - Resourceful, proactive, and adaptable mindset - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to quickly establish and build relationships - Possess a sense of urgency, energy and excitement about the role **Qualifications** - Experience using computers, various apps and software, including applicant tracking systems, employment standards software, and HRIS - 2+ years of experience in recruitment or human resources (manufacturing or construction industry an asset) - Experience building and supporting campus and skilled trades programs and generating talent pipeline - Post secondary education in business, human resources, or related field preferred **Our Core Values are at the heart of everything we do.
