Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team. As a Cabinet Maker, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling cabinets and other wooden furniture pieces. This is a full-time position that requires expertise in carpentry and the ability to work with power tools. Responsibilities: - Read and interpret blueprints to determine specifications and materials needed - Measure, cut, and shape wood using power tools such as saws, routers, and sanders - Assemble cabinets and furniture pieces according to design specifications - Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and drawer slides - Apply finishes to cabinets, including staining or painting - Ensure all pieces are properly aligned and fit together seamlessly - Repair or replace damaged cabinets or furniture components as needed Skills: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Strong carpentry skills with experience in cabinet making - Knowledge of drywall installation techniques - Basic electrical knowledge for cabinet lighting installation - Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately - Proficiency in using power tools such as saws, drills, and sanders - Experience with heavy lifting and maneuvering large wooden pieces - Excellent attention to detail for precise measurements and cuts - Familiarity with caulking techniques for seamless joints - Ability to work independently or as part of a team If you have the necessary skills and experience as a Cabinet Maker, we would love to hear from you.
