**Job Summary** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various landscaping tasks, ensuring the maintenance and aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces. This role requires a blend of mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to build, maintain, and enhance gardens and landscapes. **Responsibilities** * Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. * Dig and prepare soil for planting flowers, shrubs, and trees. * Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various landscaping projects. * Assist in building landscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. * Conduct regular inspections of landscaped areas to identify issues or areas needing attention. * Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. * Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times. **Qualifications** * A personable, positive team player who enjoys working with others and being part of a community-focused business. * Someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating beautiful, well-maintained outdoor spaces. * Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred but not required. * A desire to grow with our company, with opportunities to take on more responsibilities and potentially move into a management role * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools and hand tools effectively. * Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions. * Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. * A valid driver''s license may be required for transportation between job sites. * Cell phone with a data plan * **Must pass a criminal record check** (required for employment).
