This posting is for the position of Sheet Metal Journeyman in Calgary, AB. **Skills** Successful candidates will have a minimum of 5 year of industry experience, along with the following skills: * Strong work ethic and positive team attitude * Creative thinker with excellent problem-solving skills * Works well in a fast-paced environment * Strong organization and communication skills * Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy * Red Seal preferred **Responsibilities** As a Sheet Metal Journeyman, you will be responsible for the following: * Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specification. * Install sheet metal products according to specifications and drawings. * Inspects and test systems for proper operation and compliance with local building codes. * Collaborate with apprentices, other trades, and project supervisors to main project timelines and quality. * Promoting a positive and safe work environment * Coordinating with other trades and the client in a professional and respectful manner **Schedule** Depending on the project, possible schedules include the following: * 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday * 10 hour shift, Monday to Thursday * 10 hour shift, 2 weeks on, 1 week off **What We Offer** * Competitive compensation with additional earning potential. * Extended Health Care Plan - we pay 100% for you and your family''s premiums for extended health care, dental, short-term disability and basic life insurance. * An opportunity for career advancement Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $43.26-$46.14 per hour Expected hours: No more than 50 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Disability insurance * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * RRSP match Schedule: * 10 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
