The working conditions include indoor/outdoor tasks. The work hours are **from 11:00am to 7:30 pm, 4 days a week including some weekends.** Flexibility to work around morning and evening shifts is considered an asset. This position will be filing in for our **full-time drivers** as and when needed. *If you have experience working at a warehouse, moving company or have commercial cleaning experience, this job is for you.. apply today!* The Leads primary role is to efficiently receive, coordinate and process all the different types of material that we recover at our facility. The role requires doing pick-ups with an 18'' cube truck and assisting drivers on jobs at customer locations. Responsibility includes but is not limited to Health & Safety compliance, maintaining the equipment, job allocation, support with training new associates, and yard and facility organization. **Duties include but are not limited to:** * Unloading/Loading materials from truck with the use of forklift, pallet jack or by hand * Relief driver (18 cube truck) * Coordinating the daily operations at warehouse including but not limited to shipping and receiving as well as material processing, and supervision other crew in absence of operations coordinator * Operating machine equipment bailer, paper shredder, hanger shredder, wire stripper, conveyor belt. * Sorting, dismantling and processing materials for its highest and best use * Assisting Customer Service Associates with pick-up of material at customer location * Opening and Closing of Recovery Center * Training and supporting other associates on related procedures, equipment and health and safety requirements and other duties. * Assisting the operations coordinator by ensuring all Health & Safety regulations and procedures are being followed and reporting any issues regarding H&S * Assist the Operations Coordinator with general maintenance of equipment * Perform First Aid as needed * Other related duties **Requirements:** * Forklift Certificate min. 2 years experience * Class 5 Driving License min. 2 years of driving delivery truck experience * Level 1 Industrial First Aid Certificate - Completion prior to end of probation * TDG Certificate - Completion (prior to end of probation) * WHIMIS - Completion prior to end of probation * Work independently with minimum supervision * Take directions well with positive attitude and willingness to learn * Strong organizational and leadership skills * Able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long period of time * Results oriented * Zero Waste Fundamentals Course Completion (prior to end of probation) * Aligns with our CLEER core values; **Citizenship | Leadership | Environment | Empowerment | Responsibility**
