We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for students, staff, and visitors in a school. The successful candidate will be responsible for routine cleaning tasks throughout the school premises including classrooms, hallways, washrooms, offices, and common areas. **Key Responsibilities:** * Sweep, mop and vacuum floors * Dust and wipe surfaces, furniture, and equipment * Clean and disinfect washrooms including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors * Refill soap, toilet paper, and paper towel dispensers * Empty garbage and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly * Clean windows, doors, and glass surfaces * Sanitize high-touch surfaces to maintain hygiene standards * Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards * Follow all health and safety protocols, especially in compliance with school and public health guidelines * Secure cleaning equipment and supplies after use **Qualifications and Requirements:** * Previous cleaning experience is preferred (especially in a school or institutional setting) but not mandatory * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Attention to detail and strong work ethic * Physically able to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 25 lbs * Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies * Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English * Must pass a background check Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $17.20-$17.30 per hour Expected hours: 45 per week Benefits: * On-site parking Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
