We are currently hiring for a Pre-Construction Coordinator in Victoria, BC. This position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative operations, as well as tracking inventory and managing the inventory counts and creating pre-qualifications and bidding information. Compensation for this role is in between $50,000 to $65,000 annually with immediate health and dental benefits, and RRSP matching after one year. **Responsibilities** * Create meeting agendas and take meeting minutes at all Pre-Construction meetings. * Track inventory and manage annual inventory counts. * Write, format, and edit all pre-qualification submissions and bidding documentation. * Communicate with vendors to determine competitors and pricing on jobs, tracking as needed. * Ensure all documentation and folders are organized and named in a consistent manner. * Follow up with clients after bids are submitted for updates and track progress. * Contact Sub-Contractors for pre-qualification information and pricing. * Coordinate and track the status of all bids, including bid status, contract status, and change order tracking. * Manage and update all vendor, sub-contractor and client contact information. * Manage the sub-contractor program. * Coordinate annual inventory counts. * Assist with data entry as needed. * Other duties as required. **Qualifications** * Previous experience in a construction environment an asset. * Experience writing and creating proposals required. * 3 years of experience in an administrative role required. * Technologically savvy and able to navigate different programs such as Word, Excel, Accubid, Jonas, etc. * Diploma or certificate in administration an asset * Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication, both verbal and written * Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment * Intermediate MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) Apply today by responding to this ad.
