**Responsibilities** **Guest Service & Hospitality** * Greet guests promptly (within 30 seconds) with a welcoming attitude * Present menus, describe popular dishes, and make suggestions * Take food and beverage orders using the POS system * Use suggestive selling techniques (e.g., sides, desserts, drinks) * Serve drinks and meals promptly and correctly * Follow up within 2 minutes or 2 bites to ensure guest satisfaction * Clear and reset tables in a timely and discreet manner * Provide dessert and bill service with warmth and professionalism * Handle payments (cash or POS) and balance daily transactions **Daily Restaurant Operations** * Follow opening & closing duties as outlined in our Daily Task List * Restock server station with clean glassware, utensils, condiments, napkins, menus, and to-go containers * Clean and sanitize all surfaces, chairs, and tables before and after service * Prepare water pitchers, polish cutlery, fold napkins * Coordinate with kitchen and delivery platforms (e.g., Uber, DoorDash) * Follow all food safety and hygiene guidelines * Support the team with side duties and help maintain a clean, organized workspace **Qualifications** * Restaurant serving experience preferred (but not required we train!) * Strong communication and listening skills * Comfortable with multitasking in a fast-paced setting * Confident, courteous, and team-oriented * Clean and professional appearance * Flexible, adaptable, and able to handle pressure gracefully * Must be punctual, organized, and detail-oriented Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 20 per week Additional pay: * Tips Benefits: * Discounted or free food * Flexible schedule Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person
