**Skwlax Resource Management Ltd.** is currently seeking a full time, permanent **Civil Superviso**r based out of our offices in North Shuswap/Chase, British Columbia. With growth happening fast, there is ample opportunity to move up and develop a long term career with a locally owned, community minded organization committed to economic sustainability and responsible land stewardship. **Key Job Duties:** * Ensure crews work together to delivery quality work on strict deadlines * Monitor project processes, and provide training and team building as required * Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times * Perform equipment, material and routine site inspections * Schedule regular meetings with client representatives, vendors, managers and on-site crews * Complete reports on field activities, project progress and equipment usage, as required * Work closely with Project Team and other professionals * Assist in the recruitment and training of new operators and labourers * Process paperwork and travel to multiple sites, as required **Qualifications and Experience:** * High School Diploma, or equivalent * Minimum 5 years experience in civil (sewer, water, storm, roads, etc.) * Minimum 4 years in a leadership role preferred * Valid Class 5 driver''s license with a clean drivers abstract * Previous experience working with First Nations an asset. **Skills and Knowledge:** * Strong communication skills (written and verbal) * Strong ability to influence crews and positively challenge others * Effectively able to manage their own time and workload * Strong leadership skills to constantly drive safety and quality improvements * A hands-on implementor or processes and change * Strong computer skills * Strong management skills * Ability to maintain Company integrity through confidentiality and discretion * Able to keep track of multiple project * Detail oriented, and able to keep meticulous records **Remuneration:** Starting at $40 - $45 per hour based on experience and qualifications, plus a company vehicle and fuel card.
