Kettle Creek Landscaping is looking for a motivated individual to join our lawn maintenance team. We are an ever-growing family-based landscape company located in St. Thomas, Ontario. Core Capabilities: * Customer and quality focus * Effective communication skills * Teamwork * Excellent problem-solving skills * Responsibility and dependability * Ethics and integrity Job Duties: * Plan and manage the loading/unloading of trucks and trailer in the AM and PM * Cut grass, trim edges, blow trimmings * Work directly with the field supervisor for adjustments needed to your day * Supervise the work crew members to ensure proper safety, quality, and productivity * Operate power equipment including, but not limited to, stand-on mowers, walker mowers, line trimmers, blowers, and hedge trimmers * Conduct daily inspections on trucks and equipment * Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent * minimum of 2 years experience in the landscape/grounds maintenance industry * Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner * Effective communication skills * Time management skills * Valid G license with clean drivers abstract Work Conditions: * Start time is 7 AM * Availability to work Saturdays from April through May * The job requires the ability to work with hand tools, small engine equipment, and materials in a safe and constructive manner * Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, and cold. As we are trying to secure year-round employees, winter plowing/sidewalk plowing experience is an asset.
