(Initial 12-month contract with a strong focus on long-term, ongoing employment for the right candidate). * **Be Part of a Family:** We pride ourselves on a supportive, respectful, and close-knit team environment. * **Make an Impact:** Work on diverse residential and commercial flat roofing projects across Newmarket and the surrounding areas of York Region/GTA. **Your Responsibilities as a Flat Roofer:** * Install, repair, or replace built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts, hot asphalt, and gravel. * Expertly install, repair, or replace single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials like modified plastics, elastomeric, or other asphaltic compositions. * Maintain a high standard of quality and safety on all projects. * Collaborate effectively with your team to ensure projects are completed efficiently. * Manage materials and equipment responsibly on site. **What You Bring to the Team:** * Proven experience and knowledge in all types of flat roofing applications, including BUR, MOD BIT, and single-ply systems. * Valid Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. * Valid Rooftop Safety Training certification (Fall Protection). * Physical aptitude for demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting. * Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. * A strong team player attitude with proven dependability and reliability. * Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment with a consistent workload. * Must be able to reliably commute to various job sites within **Newmarket, ON**, and the surrounding region. **About Eileen Roofing Inc.:** Operating since 1996, Eileen Roofing Inc. is a family-owned business that provides several roofing services for residential and commercial projects.
