**Job Overview** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the food industry, ensuring that our team delivers exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing staff, handling cash transactions, and ensuring customer satisfaction during your shift. **Responsibilities** * Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth functioning. * Lead, train, and motivate team members to deliver excellent service and maintain high standards. * Assist in cooking and preparing food as needed, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards. * Manage cash handling procedures, including processing transactions accurately through the POS system. * Monitor food safety practices and compliance with health regulations to ensure a safe dining environment. * Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly, fostering a positive dining experience. * Collaborate with other managers to implement strategies for improving efficiency and profitability. * Maintain inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as necessary. **Skills** * Proven leadership abilities with experience in team management within the restaurant or food industry. * Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. * Experience with cash handling procedures and proficiency in using POS systems. * Ability to cook and assist in food preparation when required. * Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. * Bartending experience is a plus but not required. * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
