Job Description: Avanti Landscaping is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Coordinator to support residential landscape construction projects. They will support project managers by handling administrative and organizational tasks to ensure projects are completed efficiently. This includes managing schedules, coordinating resources, facilitating communication, and tracking progress. They play a crucial role in keeping projects on track and within budget. Key Responsibilities: * Assist Project Managers in planning and coordinating residential landscape construction projects: * Project Planning and Scheduling: * Assisting in the development of project plans, timelines, and schedules. * Resource Management: * Organizing and allocating resources (personnel, equipment, materials) needed for the project. * Communication and Coordination: * Facilitating communication between team members, stakeholders, and other relevant parties. * Meeting Management: * Scheduling, organizing, and facilitating project meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes. * Progress Monitoring and Reporting: * Tracking project progress, identifying potential issues, and reporting on status to the project manager. * Document Management: * Maintaining project documentation, including reports, logs, and other relevant files. * Budget Management: * Assisting with tracking project expenses and ensuring they stay within budget. * Risk Management: * Identifying potential risks and issues and working with the project manager to develop mitigation strategies. * Quality Assurance: * Ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements. * Maintain project documentation, including permits, contracts, and change orders. * Track project progress and provide regular status reports to management. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. * Maintain financial data of the projects and report it to the finance department. * Apply strong analytical abilities to assess project metrics and make quick decisions. * Demonstrate excellent scheduling skills to keep projects on track. * Negotiate and build relationships with suppliers to secure favorable terms. Qualifications: * 5+ years of experience in a GC construction project coordination environment, preferably in landscaping, residential or commercial construction. * Organizational Skills: Excellent time management, prioritization, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders. * Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during the project lifecycle. * Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software and tools. * Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build strong relationships. * Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Excel). * Excellent communication skills. * Valid drivers license and ability to work full-time in Toronto.
