Job Details Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Administer medications in the patient''s home, specialty clinics, and Physician Partnership clinic settings. Assess and monitor pre and post-injection/infusion treatments as directed by program protocols. Complete necessary documentation based on policies, procedures, and standards of practice including those from the College of Nurses and Innomar ISO accreditation. Provide patient and caregiver education based on product monographs and program protocols, individually or in groups. Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints according to Innomar policies and procedures. Maintain reliable availability to meet the needs of the IBU and the Nursing and clinics KPIs, based on the employment agreement. Communicate and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams such as case managers, physicians, pharmacy, scheduling, and other departments to meet scheduled appointments and treatments. Coordinate with patients and caregivers to set up appointments and drug delivery to home and clinic. Participate regularly in team web-based meetings and training sessions with the Business Area Manager, RNE, and Nurse Champion to uphold professional standards. Engage in specialized client-related training as required. Adhere to professional nursing standards as prescribed by professional associations and Innomar. Work collaboratively within the healthcare team, providing oversight and delegation of tasks to RPN/LPN as authorized by provincial nursing regulations. Travel within designated IBUs to meet operational needs. Follow all nursing and clinic standard operating procedures and work instructions. Comply with all health and safety standards as per provincial regulations. Complete ongoing and annual education and training within specified timeframes. Perform other duties as required by Innomar. Be available for standby/on-call duties to meet service needs. Experience and Educational Requirements: Registered Nurse with relevant experience required. Minimum 1 year IV initiation experience. Current registration with a licensing body and CPR certification. Experience in critical care, emergency, acute care inpatient/outpatient, or homecare settings. Assets include ACLS, PALS, MS, CVAA certifications, and central venous line/port experience. Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and other relevant computer programs. Access to internet and a cell phone for communication and appointment management. Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Willingness to travel within the designated area. Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution industry is an asset. Strong critical thinking, communication, interpersonal, leadership, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Hold a valid, non-expired, unrestricted drivers license and insurance. The successful candidate may have daily contact with unilingual English-speaking customers, patients, or peers from cross-functional teams.
