Fox Cityplace is seeking a hardworking individual for the position of Bartender. Fox Cityplace is a neighborhood restaurant celebrating classic British fusion cuisine. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Execute the smooth and flawless operation of the Bar and Restaurant Complete all bartender duties when necessary Develop a complete working knowledge of the menu items and their ingredients and preparation Develop a complete working knowledge of all products served in the bar Assist with beverage procurement, beverage costing Prepare beverages, accurately to recipe specs, and mix and match ingredients in innovative ways Answer questions about food, beverages, wine and other restaurant functions and services Ensure proper pouring, mixing, blending of drinks in line with AGCO legislations Monitor bar opening and closing duties Excellent communication and organizational skills Maintain Healthy and Safety standards of the Bar Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities Excellent work ethic with a high degree of responsibility Ability to work cohesively as part of a team and build relationships Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience Spreading enthusiasm and positive energy! : ) Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Seasonal Pay: $17.20 per hour Additional pay: Tips Benefits: Dental care Discounted or free food Extended health care Store discount Vision care Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Evening shift Holidays Monday to Friday Night shift Weekends as needed Experience: Bartending: 2 years (required) Licence/Certification: Smart Serve (required) Work Location: In person
