Benefit Package - Medical / Dental / Vision (If Applicable) - Uniform provided - Boot allowance - EAP Knowledge and Skills - Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills - Strong computer skills are required with proven proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) - Knowledge of Microsoft Project - Ability to plan and manage project schedules, meetings, contractors, and sub-contractors - Accurately prepare reports, track materials, labour, and equipment, and cross-reference with contract documents, budgets, and identify any defects, deviations, non-compliance, and create as-built notes/drawings - Field experience working around heavy equipment and demonstrates understanding of contract drawings and basic equipment such as a laser level and grade rod - Effectively motivating people and maintaining effective relationships with clients, owners, consultants, and engineers - Ability to anticipate stakeholder needs, investigate the underlying causes, and identify short and long-term solutions - Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment - Effective and proven organizational skills to meet multiple deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure and demanding work environment, including working with other department heads to ensure project demands and deadlines are met - Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment - Demonstrate ability to perform maturely and professionally, ensuring complete confidentiality of sensitive and confidential information - Demonstrate the ability to think critically, act logically to evaluate situations, solve problems, and make decisions - Ability to adapt to changing culture/environments - Hands-on construction experience with the ability to operate light machinery is an asset. - Ensure health and safety procedures and policies are followed in accordance with OHSA Skills Required - Degree and/or Diploma in Engineering or a related field. - 2 years of experience as a Project Coordinator/Manager. - Courses in Project Management are considered an asset. - Working towards a Project Management Certification and/or a Professional Designation. - May need to work weekends and weeknights, depending on project. - Full G license and transportation required.
