## **Job Type:** Regular **Role Overview** The Regional Engineering Manager is accountable for the successful execution of capital projects within their assigned category and portfolio of plants. This role leads a team of engineers and supports capex initiatives that align with the business categorys priorities, ensuring safety, quality, cost control, and timely delivery. The Manager partners with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and other stakeholders to drive value and operational readiness. **Key Responsibilities** Lead the execution of capital projects across assigned facilities, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and in-scope delivery. Manage a team of project engineers, providing direction, coaching, and technical support. Coordinate with site leadership and cross-functional teams to align project scope with operational goals. Ensure project documentation, risk management, and reporting are maintained according to governance standards. Lead and support engineering design reviews, construction oversight, commissioning, and start-up activities. Identify opportunities for process improvements, equipment upgrades, and energy savings in collaboration with site teams. Contribute to site master planning and future capital roadmaps. Participate in monthly portfolio reviews and report project status to the Director. Ensure all work complies with safety, food safety, and regulatory requirements. **Leadership & Collaboration** Serve as the day-to-day engineering lead for assigned plants within the category. Develop talent and technical competencies within the engineering team. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Escalate risks, delays, and resource gaps proactively to the Director. **Qualifications** Bachelors Degree in Engineering. 5+ years of managerial experience leading, coaching, developing teams 10+ years of experience in capital project execution in dairy, food, beverage, or industrial manufacturing environments. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and portfolios simultaneously across different sites. Proven experience leading cross-functional project teams and managing project engineers. Strong knowledge of project management, construction, and plant engineering best practices. Tech and analytically savvy; proficient in project management toosl, and other relevant tools. **Preferred Skills:** PMP certification or equivalent is a plus. Familiarity with stage-gate project governance. Working knowledge of utilities, automation, and packaging systems.
