Job purposeAs First Cook at Cobble Beach you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food for both a la carte service and/or banquet services. As a first cook, it is your job to pay very close attention to detail and provide our customers with exceptional quality food and presentation.Duties and responsibilities Responsible for proper preparation and presentation of menu items as set out by the executive chef and sous chefs Keep a clean, organized and sanitary work environment Required to check and record fridge temperatures every shift May be responsible for running the line during slower meal times Effectively delegate to second cooks and dishwashers to ensure positive and productive work environment Proper labeling and dating of products Rotates stock effectively.
