Strada is currently adding skilled positions for our 2025 Concrete crews. There is no union requirement. Strada offers industry competitive pay including benefits and vehicles for the right candidates.Successful candidates should be hardworking, self- motivated and enthusiastic team players, willing and ready to work with all personalities. Anyone applying must have a minimum of 3 years experience with roadwork and City of Ottawa specifications for concrete finishing.When concrete work is not available crews will be asked to perform landscaping and excavation duties such as jobsite preparation, reinstatements of soft-scape and general labor.Type of work:- City Curbs and sidewalks.- Structural Slabs.- Architectural structures.- Splash Pads.- Reinstatements when required, such as asphalt paving and other general landscaping.Mandatory Experience:- Placing and finishing of concrete.- Line and grade.- General form setting and rough carpentry.Requirements:- G License with clean abstract.- Steel toe boots and rubber boots for concrete.- Hard hat and vest.- Must have own reliable transportation.- No criminal record.Tools and other PPE supplied by Strada.Job Types: Full-time, SeasonalContract length: 8-9 monthsPay: $33.00-$42.00 per hourExpected hours: 44 - 60 per weekAdditional pay: Bonus pay Overtime payBenefits: Company car Dental care Extended health care Life insurance Profit sharing RRSP match Vision careSchedule: Monday to Friday OvertimeAbility to commute/relocate: OTTAWA, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience: concrete: 3 years (required)Licence/Certification: Class G Licence (required)Work Location: In person
