To conduct a variety of semi-skilled maintenance repairsPerform general maintenance on sanitary and mechanical systems of building.Check all fire extinguishers monthlyTo recommend repairs and adjustments to the supervisor as required, requisition supplies andequipment, and provide technical advice and training to staff as needed.To ensure Fire Safety complianceTo ensure daily, weekly, monthly and yearly checklist is maintained and up to date.To routine inspection of all floors and storage areas, elevator room, boiler room, electrical room,chemical room, laundry room and all other rooms for preventative maintenance.To comply with any direction given by administration.To attend Health and Safety committees.Skills Needed:Knowledge of Boiler systemsKnowledge of Sprinkler SystemElectrical knowledgeCarpentry SkillsLawn and Garden maintenanceFire Prevention protocol/Fire Panel knowledgePlumbing repairsHeavy liftingTo be on call when neededJob Type: Part-timePay: $19.33-$34.65 per hourWork Location: In person
