Overview: At Tim Hortons, our Restaurant Supervisors play a critical leadership role in ensuring daily operations run smoothly while delivering exceptional guest experiences. Supervisors are hands-on leaders who support team performance, enforce policies and standards, and help build a positive, productive workplace culture. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Support Display strong leadership qualities by motivating and coaching team members throughout the shift. Serve as a role model for all front-line team members, promoting a positive and respectful work environment. Foster teamwork by communicating clearly and ensuring everyone is working towards shared goals. Provide on-the-job training to new and existing staff as needed.Operations Management Supervise and direct daily operations to ensure store standards are maintained in cleanliness, service, food quality, and speed of service. Monitor shift productivity and manage breaks, deployment, and task assignments to ensure optimal coverage. Address and resolve team or guest concerns promptly and professionally. Ensure that opening and closing checklists are completed to standard.Health & Safety Enforcement Enforce all health and safety standards in accordance with local regulations and company policy. Conduct routine inspections of work areas to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and proper equipment use. Identify and respond quickly to hazards, reporting or resolving concerns without delay. Ensure staff are wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and following all safety procedures.Food Safety Compliance Monitor and enforce proper food handling, storage, preparation, and serving procedures to maintain quality and safety. Ensure temperature logs, sanitizer levels, and other food safety documentation are up-to-date and accurate. Participate in internal food safety audits and assist in corrective actions as needed. Stay up to date with food safety certifications and practices.Guest Service Excellence Ensure each guest receives a warm welcome and a consistent, high-quality product. Support the team in resolving complaints or concerns in a courteous and timely manner. Lead by example in delivering fast, friendly, and accurate service. Qualifications: Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced restaurant or retail setting preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-moving environment while maintaining attention to detail. Capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays. Food safety certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
