We take pride in partnering with local businesses and farmers to produce high quality beverages.Overview:This role is accountable for the safe movement of raw materials and finished goods using a forklift, ensuring accurate product handling, and adhering to the company's occupational health and safety program, food safety program, and quality standards. This position is forklift operator focused, with a requirement to work on the production floor and do order picking as required. Main Responsibilities Production & Warehouse Duties Operate a forklift in a safe and responsible manner Load and unload materials from trucks, storage areas Stage raw materials, packaging, and finished product Participate in the organization of inventory and warehouse functionality Assist in the daily production, including fruit sorting, packaging, equipment setup and cleanup, and order fulfillment Follow food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Perform basic quality control checks on raw materials and finished products Basic equipment cleaning & maintenance Perform or assist in routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of the forklift Adhere to a regular equipment inspection schedule to ensure proper operation and minimize downtime. Documentation & Record-Keeping Maintain accurate records of product movements, inventory changes, and equipment checklists. Complete necessary records for shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions Occupational Health & Safety Comply with all OH&S requirements, including wearing required personal protective equipment and following safe job procedures. Actively participate in safety training related to forklift operation, warehouse best practices, and food safety standards. Working Conditions Manufacturing environment with exposure to loud equipment. Must be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions. Must be able to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours) and perform repetitive lifting, twisting, and bending. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
