Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the outdoor grounds of our facility, ensuring a clean and safe environment for all.Duties- Maintain lawns, gardens, aid in managing overgrowth/weed whacking- Perform landscape maintenance duties such as mowing, weed whacking, planting, weeding, and mulching.- Ability to operate riding lawn mowers, zero turn lawn mowers, weed whackers, pole trimmers, sawzalls, chainsaws, etc.- Utilize power tools and hand tools for various maintenance tasks.-Experience painting- Assist in building and repairing structures on the propertyQualifications- Prior experience in grounds maintenance or a related field is preferred- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools- Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skillsJoin our team as a Grounds Maintenance Worker and contribute to maintaining a beautiful outdoor environment!Job Type: SeasonalContract length: 6 monthsPay: From $20.00 per hourBenefits: Dental care Extended health care On-site parkingSchedule: Day shiftEducation: Secondary School (preferred)Experience: Landscape maintenance: 1 year (required)Language: English (required)Licence/Certification: Class G Licence (required)Work Location: In person
