Join us on our journey to build a sustainable future, together. **About the Job** As a Production Worker on our Horticultural Production Team, you''ll work in a dynamic environment focused on producing high-quality soil and mulch products. You''ll operate key equipment like forklifts and palletizers and play a vital role in supporting a cleaner, greener future. * This is a day-shift role Monday to Thursday, 6 am-4:30 pm, giving you long weekends every week (Friday to Sunday off)! * The starting wage is $24.40/hour. **What Youll Be Doing** * Operating machinery such as skid steers, dual forklifts, and tractors * Running the mulch and soil production lines * Supporting machine operation and shipping when needed **Heres What You Need** * Comfortable with physical work: standing, lifting (up to 45lbs), and moving equipment * A problem-solver who can multitask and adapt to changing needs * Team player who can also work independently * Experience in farming, landscaping, agriculture, or general labour is a bonus * Forklift experience or certification is an asset but were happy to train the right person! **Whats in it for you** * You become part of a team you can count on * A comprehensive total rewards package and benefits to support your wellbeing * Leaders who support your growth and success * A workplace that provides the best health & safety practices in industry * Give back to your community with two paid volunteer days annually and opportunities to become involved in events At Walker, your contribution matters.
