This facility is involved in slicing, shredding, and packaging cheese, ensuring high-quality dairy products for our customers. **How Agropur Invests in you:** - **Starting pay at $28.02 an hour** - **Shifts include 7 AM to 3 PM, 3 PM to 11 PM, and 11 PM to 7 AM, must be open to rotating all shifts including weekend hours.** - Schedule is up to 40 hours a week (no guaranteed hours) - This is a 3 month contract position. - Opportunity to grow your career in food manufacturing. **Whats involved in this role:** - Open raw material cheese and ingredients, cut cheese, mix ingredients, and pack finished goods - Complete required documentation accurately and timely - Assist Machine Operator to ensure prompt start-ups - Monitor product, package appearance and package integrity at pack-off station - Use of an electric pallet jack and/or walkie stacker. - Complete scheduled and assigned sanitation tasks - Follow the Standard Operation Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and OHSA - Assist co-workers when necessary **What you need to join our team:** - Grade 12 or equivalent - One to two years of food manufacturing experience or similar - Ability to lift at least up to 23 kg/50 lbs and work in a fast paced environment - Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with colleagues. - **Availability to rotate through all shifts: days, afternoons, and midnights, during the week and on the weekend** Candidates applying for this position must recognize the physical demands.
