Accounting Professional Wanted Our client is seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to join their team on a contractual basis. This exciting opportunity involves working with daily fund activity, analyzing cash flow and reconciling assets. Key responsibilities include generating cash management analyses, processing accounts payable and preparing financial statements. Review and reconcile daily fund activity, including analysis of cash flow and reconciliation of assets and cash balances. Generate cash management analyses, including preparation of wires and transfers. Process accounts payable and related expenses for private equity funds. Prepare capital calls and distributions for private funds. Prepare partnership allocations and input manual entries. Coordinate with team members to ensure all activity is accounted for in a timely manner. Understand legal agreements to ensure relevant aspects are captured by fund accounting. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and audit packages. Assist in tax information preparation for tax filings. Respond to inquiries from counterparties, vendors and auditors. We are looking for an individual with between 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably with US GAAP familiarity and public accounting experience. A degree in accounting or finance is required, along with a recognized Professional Accounting designation. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills and be detail-oriented. They should possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using an ERP system. Financial industry experience is an asset.
